Latest - Introducing the NEW CoolPall half PAG shipper from SCA Cool Logistics
August 2010
+2°C to +8°C and +15°C to +25°C bulk airfreight shipping systems utilising the same component inventory
Leighton Buzzard – UK June 30th 2010 - SCA Cool Logistics an organisation that designs, qualifies, manufactures and supplies temperature controlled packaging solutions to the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Clinical Research Industries would like to announce the addition of the Half PAG to its CoolPall range – a collection of temperature controlled bulk shipping systems.
The CoolPall Half PAG shipper has been specifically designed for the transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical product and API. It is based on the footprint of an aircraft pallet, is extremely large in size and holds over 2700 litres of product. The unique interlocking edges help to ensure temperature stability, enabling the customer to ship with complete confidence.
Designed using an all year round universal pack out; the design and performance creates a competitive product offering to customers who need to send large shipments in a cost effective, high performing packaging solution. The two profiles used to qualify the CoolPall range come from in-depth investigation into real international shipping recordings taken not only by SCA Cool logistics but also by users.
The two ambient profiles when used together to develop solutions ensure that the system is stressed to the extremes that can be seen in transit (these reach as low as -18°C and as high as +45°C).
The extensive international network of partnerships and manufacturing locations across 3 continents – Europe, North America and Asia enables SCA Cool Logistics to develop fully qualified, high performance, cost effective systems to meet the requirements of demanding supply chain operations.
According to Steve Healy – Sales and Marketing Manager of SCA Cool Logistics “the development of the half PAG was based on customer and market feedback, we have worked very closely with leading pharmaceutical companies and their 3PL supply chain partners to optimise their shipping quantities whilst helping them to control the cost of airfreight.”

We have moved
March 2009
SCA Cool Logistics’ Head Office has moved to new premises.
Over the last few years our continued growth has led us to occupy a number of buildings around our original site in Chartmoor Road.
In order to consolidate these sites and allow for our future growth we have moved to new, larger premises within Leighton Buzzard. Originally due to be completed by the end of March, our builders finished their work early, so we were able to move in a month ahead of schedule!
The new site is 11,500 sq metres, providing us with extra capacity for manufacturing our existing product ranges and our new products which will be introduced throughout 2009.
During March we will be adding a purpose built CoolLabs testing facility, which will increase our development and qualification capabilities, enabling us to continue to provide a high degree of service to both our existing and any future customers. Our technical team will be moving into the new CoolLabs facility at the beginning of April 2009
Don't forget to update your address books with our new details, shown at the bottom of this page.
